TOP favorites Wenson and older sister Quiana Reyes ruled their respective divisions at the start of
the hugely-successful Malolos mini-motocross series last Saturday at the Malolos Sports and
Convention race track.
Supported by Malolos Mayor Christian Natividad and organized by the Mx Messiah Fairgrounds
Academy headed by Pastor Sam Tamayo, Wenson emerged triumphant in the premier kids 85cc and 65cc
divisions after repulsing the determined challenges of David Malgapo, Zan Mamaril and Ethan Morales.
Quiana topped the girls division (age 14 and below) against tough rider Regine May Flores.
Quiana earned thunderous applause from the crowd with a high flying jump at the finish line.
Lady rider Xy Maximo emerged triumphant in the All Girls division for age 9 and below as
well as the Kids 50cc (age 7-8).
Kids from ages 4-12 for boys and 8-14 for girls joined the 11 category mini motocross
‘’This Mini Motocross Series, featuring the kids, is what will make the sport of Motocross
racing in the country grow. We are grateful for Malolos City for making this 3-leg race series
possible.To God be the glory,’’ said Tamayo, who also organized a “Learn to Ride” program sponsored
by Yamaha Motor Philippines to kids 12 yrs old and younger earlier that day.
Winners from the other categories were Joshua Tamayo of Yamaha PW50 (age4-6), Christopher
Mercado of Yamaha PW50(age 8 and younger) and Kids 65cc (age 7-9), Kevin Clint Bernardo of Kids 50cc
(age 4-6) and Tj Villalon of Kids 50cc (age 8 and below).
