THE race for the two remaining semifinal berths in the PVL Reinforced Conference is turning out to be a three-way fight.

With three losses in the quarterfinals, Iriga-Navy and Tacloban have been already eliminated, while BaliPure-National University’s fate of making it to the semis is not entirely in its hands after dropping at 1-2.

That leaves BanKo-Perlas, Pocari Sweat-Air Force and Petro Gazz slugging it out for the right to join early qualifiers Creamline and PayMaya in the Final Four.

Undefeated in three quarters matches, the Perlas Spikers still cannot rest on their laurels, especially that they are separated only with the third-running Angels (2-1) by just one game.

With the possibility of a three-way tie at 4-1 at the end of eliminations remains high, BanKo-Perlas needs to beat BaliPure-NU tomorrow and Petro Gazz on Wednesday to advance in the next round.
