DIFFERENT sectors belonging to the Liga Independencia Pilipinas have jointly condemned an emerging “Evil Alliance” among detractors of President Rodrigo Duterte.
In a press conference yesterday, the Liga Independencia Pilipinas revealed that at today’s protest rally at the Quirino Grandstand will come together a group of the Liberal Party which they branded as “dilawan” (yellow) and represented by former President Noynoy Aquino and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan; the ranks of destabilizers allegedly led by Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV; and “pulahan” (reds) to which belongs Ka Joma Sison, legal front of the CPP-NPA-NDF, and Bayan.
“They have almost sacrificed their principles to pursue their own interest. The CPP-NPA and Bayan were all-out in calling for the ouster of PNoy and the yellows in the previous administration. All of a sudden the Yellow, Red and Black have united to destabilize the Du30 administration,” said Ernesto Tiacao, spokesman of Liga.
He cited the Mamasapano massacre of 44 members of the PNP Special Action Force, the Mendiola massacre, Hacienda Luisita massacre, and the abductions of activists during the terms of Cory and Noynoy Aquino.
He said all are EJKs (extrajudicial killings) committed by the state fascism under the leadership of the Aquinos.
Tiacao also slammed Chito Gascon, who was the former chairman of Kalipi and Execom of LP, for using the CHR to sully the image of President Duterte in the issue of human rights.
The Liga also charged that the German Think Tank Center is funding the LP and the think tank has a deep link with the European Union and to Agnes Callamard in the EU with the aim of destroying the credibility of the Philippines and the Duterte administration.
The press conference was attended by Boy Saycon and leaders of Liga.
