CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga -- A barangay tanod, along with 13 others, were arrested in anti-drug operations in Magalang, Pampanga on Saturday.
Acting Pampanga police director Senior Supt. Nicolas Salvador said Roberto Waje Maglaqui, 46, a watchman of Bgy. Sta. Lucia, in Magalang, was arrested after he sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer.
When apprehended, Malaqui yielded three more sachets of shabu.
The motorcycle with sidecar he used to deliver the drugs was also seized by the police.
Police said Maglaqui is listed as a high-value drug target.
Meanwhile, 13 persons were also arrested in anti-drugs operations.
Four were arrested in Mabalacat City, one each in Magalang and San Simon towns, six in Mexico, one in this city, and one in Sto. Tomas.
Dozens of sachets of shabu were confiscated from the suspects during the operations.
All suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165.
