CITY of San Fernando, Pampanga -- A notorious member of the Salisi, Akyat-Bahay and Basag-Kotse Gang was arrested in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Bgy. Dela Paz Sur, here, the other day.

Senior Supt. JJoel Consulta, acting Pampanga police director, identified the suspect as Charlie Salonga alias “Doe”, 29.
Salonga’s partner in crime, identified as Ronald Lumanlan, of legal age, was able to escape.
Confiscated from Salonga were four plastic sachets of shabu and the marked money used by the poseur-buyer in the police operation.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against the suspect.
Investigators said that Salonga and Lumanlan were captured by CCTV footage last April 15 entering a hospital and carting away a bag containing cash and bank cards of an employee.
The duo were able to escape but were charged with theft before the City Prosecutor’s Office.
Lumanlan is now being sought by the police to face the charges filed against him.
