PRO-Cor bags ‘Gold Eagle Award’ in PGS proficiency

CAMP Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet -- A “Gold Eagle Award”, the highest award being conferred by the
Philippine National Police to its units, and the Performance Governance System proficient status were
conferred to the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO-Cor) for garnering 96.86% during the
Conferment of PGS “Proficient” status held at the National Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City on

PRO-Cor director Chief Supt. Elmo Francis Oco Sarona, together with the Command Group and
members of the PRO-Cor Regional Advisory Council (RAC), received the prestigious award for fulfilling
the requirements of the Proficiency Stage of the PNP’s Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and
Upholding the Rule of Law (P.A.T.R.O.L.) Plan 2030.
This achievement early in the year places PRO-Cor one step closer to the final stage of its
transformation journey.
This award was only achieved and made possible by the hard work and collective efforts of
every PRO-Cor personnel, making this transformation a reality for the PNP Cordillera. It serves as an
inspiration for each of us to re-ignite our commitment for a highly capable, effective and credible
police service,” Sarona said.
Sarona also thanked the RAC, its primary external stakeholder partner, for the council’s
support and value-adding contributions making the achievement possible. He vowed to continue what has
started and strengthen the PNP’s resolve to fight criminality to ensure safety of the community
through the strict implementation of Project Double Barrel: Reloaded and compliance to the PNP
P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030.
