Cavite -- The city government and the police here will conduct a two-day, one-stop shop caravan today for the processing of License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) and Permit to Carry (PTC) at the Bacoor Government Center Gymnasium.
The event, which is open to all gun owners in Cavite, will start from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The project was made possible by Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla, Rep. Strike Revilla and General Alex Gutierrez in partnership with PNP chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.
The requirements for the processing of the LTOPF are the NBI, police and barangay clearances, birth certificate or passport, two valid IDs, proofs of billing, qualification and income; neuro and drug test and gun laws safety.
The certificate of LTOPF and registration; NBI clearance and threat assessment for new firearms are needed in securing the permit to carry.
The caravan also caters to the renewal of both LTOPF and PTC.
Mayor Mercado-Revilla and General Alex Gutierrez will grace the two-day event to welcome the gun owners of the province.
