CITY of San Fernando, Pampanga -- Agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) dismantled a drug den in Angeles City following the arrest of five persons considered as top drug personalities in the city the other day.

PDEA Central Luzon Director Gil T. Pabilona said the drug den located at Corsikan Compound, Garcia St., Bgy. Balibago, is maintained by Ronald G. Dungca, 45, a known drug personality in Angeles City.

Pabilona identified the other four suspects as Gerald B. Tamo, 24, Nelson L. Acosta Jr.; Louie V. Matiga, 31, and Kiel Patrick Gil G. Chua, 20, all of Bgy. Balibago.

“We have been monitoring the illegal activities of the suspects since August last year after concerned citizens in the said area reported to us about the drug den,” Pabilona said.

Pabilona said a team of policemen from Station 4 of Angeles City Police Office assisted his men in implementing a search warrant issued by the court which resulted in the seizure of 11 transparent plastic sachets containing 30 grams of shabu with as estimated street value of P204,000 and assorted drug paraphernalia.

The suspects are now detained at PDEA jail facility at Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga after charges were filed against them in court.
