Pampanga town’s most wanted, 11 pushers held

CITY of San Fernando, Pampanga -- The top 10 most wanted person in Sta. Ana town in this province was arrested in a police manhunt operation last Wednesday afternoon.

In a report to Chief Supt. Amador Corpus, PRO3 director, acting Pampanga police director Senior Supt. Nicolas Salvador identified the suspect as Angel Pangan, 22.

The suspect was arrested in Bgy. Sto. Niño by local police and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group operatives by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Judege Divina Luz Simbulan of Regional Trial Court branch 41  for illegal recruitment with recommended bail of P120,000.

Meanwhile, police arrested 11 suspected drug pushers in buy-bust operations in different parts of the province.

Those arrested included Benjamin Pineda, 51, Kevin Mutuc, 25, Jonel Rivera, 25, and Oliver Navarro, 27, of Magalang town; Jaime Neo Jr., 27, and Marcos Silvestre, 47, of Candaba; Jonathan Sarmiento, 27, and Emerson Lelay Jr., 26, of Sto. Tomas town; Raffy Vizcayno, 41, of Mexico; Rizaldy Timpug, 53, of Guagua town; and John Erwin Mesa, 25, of Arayat.

Dozens of sachets of shabu were confiscated during the police operations.

The suspects are facing charges for possession and selling of illegal drugs under Republic Act 9165.
