Negros cops hunt bus driver in bloody Mindoro road accident

ELEMENTS of Philippine National Police (PNP) in Negros Occidental  launched a manhunt operation
against the driver of a bus that figured in an accident killing two school officials and wounding of
26 others the other day in the said province.

The driver was identified as Julius Pascual Beleno, of Bgy. Masaya Centro, San Agustin,
The report said that since the accident occurred, the driver of the bus went missing and
nowhere to be found.
Charges of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide and multiple physical injuries
will be filed against the bus driver.
As of press time, all injured passengers were already discharged from the hospital except for
Marice Manaol, who was still confined at San Jose District Hospital.
Other injured passengers identified as Mary Ann De Castro and Jommel Tomas were transferred to
Batangas Hospital for further treatment.
It can be recalled that a Charm Travel and Tour Bus (RNJ-324) figured in an accident at 6:30
p.m. in Sitio Bunga, Bgy. Nicolas, Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro.
The accident resulted in the killing of Elmer Decillo, sports director, 61, married, of Bgy.
Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal, and Jonathan Penada, 51, campus director, of Binangonan Rizal University
System and the wounding of 26 others.
It was learned that the victims were on their way to San Jose to participate in the Southern
Tagalog Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges Olympics (STRASUC) when the accident
