BALER, Aurora -- The Land Transportation Office (LTO) here stressed that “kuliglig” carrying passengers or agricultural products such as cavans of palay, vegetables, fruits as well as bamboos are not allowed to traverse the national highway to avoid accident.

LTO chief Renato Macalisang said kuliglig is a two- wheeled hand tractor used for land preparation in wetland ricefields and also called power tiller.

Macalisang calls on the owners of kuliglig to utilize the said agricultural hand tractor for farming and not as for transporting persons and farm produced goods passing through the national roadlines.

“Puede pong tumawid ang kuliglig sa national highway papunta sa kabilang kalsada. Kailangang mahigpit nating ipatupad ang ganitong sistema upang makaiwas sa anumang aksidente,” he said.
