A 29-year-old former security guard was arrested for possession of a gun and fake PNP ID cards with
different names in front of a convenience store in Bgy. San Roque, San Pablo City, Wednesday night.

Supt. Gil Torralba, San Pablo City police chief, identified the arrested suspect as Kent Lim,
29, of San Nicolas, San Pablo City.
The suspect was facing charges of illegal possession of firearms and usurpation of authority.
Elements of San Pablo police and the Laguna Provincial Intelligence Branch earlier received
information that a suspicious-looking man was standing in front of 7-11 store at about 9:30 p.m.
Torralba said the suspect was wearing 511 T-shirt and checkered green short pants and
carrying a short firearm tucked in his waist.
When checked, police found from his possession a cal. .45 loaded with eight live ammunition
and fake PNP ID with rank of PO2 and several ID cards.
“Ayon sa kanya, siya daw ay nagsisilbing driver ng kanyang tiyahin,” Torralba said.
