SAN Jose City -- Robbers struck anew in a motorcycle shop here and carted away less than P200,000
in cash, jewelry and other assorted items, police reported yesterday.

Robbed was the Patiag Motorcycle Parts Store on Rizal St., Bgy. R. Eugenio, and owned by
businessman Erwin Patiag, 40, of Zone 1, Bgy. Sinipit Bubon.

Supt. Marco Dadez, city police commander, said Patiag found out the robbery when he was
about to open the store at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The victim told police he was opening the roll-up doors of the store when he saw the two
padlocks were missing. Upon checking inside, Patiag saw that the cash box containing the sales
worth P45,000 was missing.
Also carted away by the robbers were pieces of jewelry owned by Patiag’s wife, consisting
of two gold rings, four gold necklaces and pendants and a gold bracelet.
Also found missing were a set of DVD player, two motorcycle tires, a box of mechanic tools
and five liters of motorcycle engine oil, all worth about P145,000.
Dadez said he directed his men to conduct an in-depth investigation for possible
identification and arrest of the suspects.
