October 25, 2018

CAMP Brig. Gen. Vicente Lim, Bgy. Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna -- Highway Patrol Group (HPG) head Chief Supt. Roberto Fajardo issued a stern warning to policemen to avoid escorting executives or politicians or face charges and summary dismissal from the service.

Yesterday, Gen. Fajardo visited the highway patrol  unit of Canlubang to lead the presentation of the confiscated gadgets of motorcycles and some improvised plate numbers used by civilians (see photo above) just to make themselves convenient passing restricted roads during rush hours.

Fajardo said he has ordered his men in the entire country to implement strictly the use of these devises that blurred the eyesight of the motorists at night time and the use of huge mufflers.

The HPG general also presented a carnapper, identified as Nelson Manalo, of Purok IV, Bgy. Bulbok, Lipa City, who was apprehended by the HPG men in Calabarzon.

The suspect has records of stealing motorcycles in Batangas City and was previously detained at the Batangas City Jail.
