CamSur mishap leaves man dead, 2 wounded

A man was killed while two others were wounded in a vehicular accident involving a tricycle and a motorcycle on New Year’s Day in Camarines Sur.

The fatality was identified as Arnold Laybo, 52, married, of Bgy. Palong, Libmanan town. Taken to the nearest hospital were Benigno Leandro San Agustin, 58, and his daughter Leslie, 7.

Reports said the incident occurred at 3:55 p.m. along Maharlika Highway in Bgy. San Isidro, Libmanan.

Leandro and his daughter were onboard a passenger tricycle with body no. 321 on their way home when the vehicle encroached the opposite lane and hit an incoming  Rusi Motorcycle with no plate driven by Laybo.

Laybo fell on his head on the road and died instantaneously.
