CAMP Gen. Malvar, Batangas -- A 38-year-old murder suspect was nabbed by authorities at RR Station,
Bgy. 24, Batangas City, on Monday, police PIO head Insp. Hazel P. Luma-ang said.
Senior Supt. Alden Bacarra Delvo, provincial police director, identified the suspect as
Wenceslao Magtipon de Castro, single.
Case officer SPO3 Edsel dela Cruz said that at 4:40 p.m. Monday, elements of the Batangas
City Police Station led by SPO2 Paulino Eje, along with PO2 Joel Pinsan Militar of the Warrant
Section, under the supervision of the city police chief Supt. Wildemar Tiu, conducted an operation at
RR Station, that led to the arrest of the accused by virtue of a warrant for murder issued by Judge
Ma. Cecilia I. Austria-Chua, of the Regional Trial Court Branch 2, of Batangas City.
The lawmen also recovered from the suspect, who was listed as no. 10 in the most wanted
person in Lambat Sibat and no. 5 in the LOI Manhunt Charlie, a Lorcin cal. .380 pistol with serial
no. 334345 with one magazine loaded with four live bullets.
The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of the Batangas CPS, facing charges of
illegal possession of firearm.
