Boy drowns in Cavite resort

CUARTEL, CPPO, Camp General Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City -- A six-year-old boy drowned in one of famous fresh water resorts in upland town of Indang, Cavite, according to Senior Supt. Arthur Bisnar, police provincial director.

The victim, Paulo Miguel Collamat, a kindergarten student from Bgy. Langkaan 1, Dasmariñas City, was found unconscious at 4:45 p.m. on April 20, 2017 by his uncle under the pool of Villa Felomena Resort in Bgy.  Kaytambog, Indang town  and was given CPR wherein the victim vomited so he was taken immediately to nearby MV Santiago Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival by an attending physician.

The victim was last seen swimming together with his 11-year-old cousin in the children’s pool, according to the police investigators led by Chief Insp. Joel Palmares, deputy chief of police of Indang.

Meanwhile, in Trece Martires City, Police Regional Office 4-A director Supt. Mao Aplasca presided over the consultative meeting with the Cavite Liga ng mga Barangay regarding the mobilization of barangays against criminality and lawlessness held at Sangguniang Panglalawigan Session Hall at capitol grounds. 

The meeting was also attended by Senior Supt.  Arthur Bisnar, CPPO director; members of the command group and staff and all chiefs of Police of the province. Aplasca discussed the project concept.
