Bombs found in CamSur town

SAGÑAY, Camarines Sur -- Rebel explosives and detonating wires consisting of three rifle grenades, MK hand grenades, an improvised explosive device (IED) and wire cables (18 meters long) were uncovered by personnel of the Sagñay MPS, some 15 meters away from a roadside in Sitio Pulang Daga, Bgy. Turague, here.

The explosive devices were discovered while the Police Regional Office 5, police regional intelligence division and the Sagñay MPS were conducting a gift-giving activity to local constituents in the said village.

Police said the explosive devices were buried in the roadside by suspected communist rebels for use in their planned ambush and future attacks on police and Army convoys on their way to remote village.
