Batangas most wanted nabbed in Mindoro, another yields ammo, marijuana

CAMP Gen. Miguel Malvar, Batangas -- Police on Tuesday reported that the Batangas most wanted person was nabbed by authorities in Mindoro Occidental, provincial police PIO chief Senior Insp. Hazel P. Luma-ang said.

Acting provincial police director Senior Supt. Edwin Agulian Quilates identified the felon as Dominador Ebos Novilla, alias Jhun.

Quilates said the suspect, tagged as no. 10 MWP under Manhunt Charlie, was arrested by elements of the Bauan Municipal Police Station under the supervision of Chief Insp. Bjon U. Revecho.

He said police arrested the suspect at 10 a.m. in Bgy. Tagumpay, Zone 2, by virtue of a warrant for violation of Republic Act 7610 issued by Judge Florencio S. Arellano, of the Regional Trial Court Branch 1 of Batangas City, with a recommended bail of P150,000.

In San Jose. Mindoro Occidental, police arrested Vincent Ibañez Umali, 38, of 243 Bgy. Lumil.

Local police head Senior Insp. Ernie delos Santos implemented search warrant No. B302(18) for violation of RA 10591 issued by Judge Agripino G. Morga of the RTC Branch 29-32 of San Pablo City, Laguna, dated July 13, 2018, for the arrest of the suspect.

Police confiscated three live ammunition for cal. .45, a red plastic tube with a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing marijuana at the scene.
