CAMP Olivas, Pampanga -- Two of the most wanted persons in the police’s list of fugitives were arrested in separate manhunt operations in the provinces of Bataan and Zambales, the other day.
Chief Supt. Amador Corpus, Police Regional Office 3 director, identified the arrested suspect as Jun Ebalan, alias “Eto”, 71, of Masinloc, Zambales.
The suspect is wanted for frustrated murder and was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Consuelo Amog-Bocar of the Iba Regional Trial Court Branch 71 with recommended bail of P200,000. He is listed no. 9 top wanted person in the said municipality.
In Abucay town, Bataan, joint operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and municipal police arrested one Geralyn dela Cruz, 35, who is facing estafa before the sala of Judge Roland Tungol of the Municipal and City Trial Courts of Abucay with recommended bail of P40,000.
Dela Cruz is no. 7 on the list of Top 10 most wanted personalities of Abucay.
Corpus said that while the Central Luzon police is doing its mandate to relentlessly go after illegal drugs and people behind the menace, it will also perform its task to bring fugitives and wanted persons to justice.
“The days of these persons sought by law are numbered as we will not stop our campaign to hunt them down. We will continue to find, arrest and put them behind the bars of justice as we vow to eradicate all forms of lawlessness in the region,” he said.
