GAPAN City, Nueva Ecija -- A sports utility vehicle (SUV) owned by a Valenzuela City resident was burglarized by suspected “Basag-Kotse Gang” members while parked inside a shopping mall in this city on Sunday night.

City police head Supt. Peter Madria said victim Michael Aggari, 29, college professor, of 27 Vinegar St., Llenado Subd., Bgy. Karuhatan, Valenzuela City, sought help after his mother’s vehicle, a black Chevrolet Trailblazer (MIK-22) was burglarized by unidentified men at the parking lot of WalterMart shopping center in Bgy. Madria said the victim learned about the robbery-break-in incident after the mall’s roving security guard, identified as Arnold Sumanqui, saw the vehicle’s rear left window was smashed open at 6:45 p.m.

Carted away by the suspects were the victim’s two Louis Vuitton bags wherein one of which contained cash amounting to US$200.
