October 31, 2018

BALER, Aurora -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) is implementing “Oplan Kaluluwa” to ensure the security and safety of the public  as they pay their respects to their departed ones in cemeteries.

Police Community Relations (PCR) head Supt. Reynalde Pitpitan said the local police will establish assistance centers in all cemeteries in the province, particularly in Baler, and deploy additional police personnel in traffic  route to assist motorists and commuters.

Meanwhile, Baler Vice Mayor Pedro “Bobong” Ong yesterday urged all concerned agencies to ensure the safety of travellers on All Saints’ Day by maintaining the worthiness of all public transportation.

Ong appealed to the LTO to intensify the campaign against colorum vans which was conservatively estimated at 60 units plying Baler-Cabanatuan and Baler via Casiguran routes.
