ASG bandit’s body found in Sulu

POLICE on Monday morning recovered the body of a suspected member of the extremist Abu Sayyaf in a
remote area in Panamao, Sulu, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Police director Chief Supt.
Graciano J. Mijares said.

Mijares said the body was later identified as that of Roger Barak Haber, a suspected Abu
Sayyaf member residing in Bgy. Timpok, Patikul, Sulu.
The official said the local village officials informed the police of the discovery of the
dead man’s body in Sitio Paksa, Bgy. Bangday, Panamao at 10:45 a.m. Monday. Immediately, members of
the Panamao Municipal Police Station rushed to the site to investigate.
Mijares said the slain suspect is said to be working with an Abu Sayyaf band led by a
certain ‘Hairulla.’ The incident is still being investigated, he said.
