Alitagtag homicide suspect falls in Cavite

CAMP Gen. Miguel Malvar, Batangas -- A 29-year-old construction worker was arrested by authorities in Bgy. Lucsuhin, Silang town, provincial police PIO chief Senior Insp. Kerwin Amor Umali Cabrales said on Monday.

A report to Batangas police director Senior Supt. Senior Supt. Edwin A. Quilates by Alitagtag Municipal Police Station chief Senior Insp. Hazel P. Luma-ang Suarez said the suspect, identified as Jayson Cordivillo Eje, married, a construction worker, of Bgy. San Jose, Alitagtag, was caught hiding in Cavite.

Luma-ang said the suspect, who did not resist, was tagged as no. 4 on the top most wanted persons Phase 4 Reloaded for homicide. He was captured during their operation at the said village by virtue of a warrant of arrest in Criminal Case No. 22-2010 issued by Judge Juanita G. Areta of the Regional Trial Court Branch 86 of Taal, Batangas dated August 12, 2010.

The accused was already convicted for the crime committed and is due to serve his sentence, Luma-ang added.
