CAMP Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet -- Members of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PRO-COR) arrested five drug pushers and seized 20 sachets of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations conducted in Baguio City and Benguet province, PRO-COR director Chief Supt. Rolando Z. Nana said yesterday.
C/Supt. Nana said joint personnel of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Criminal Intelligence Unit and Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) Station 3 arrested a female drug pusher identified as Rose Marie delos Reyes Masucol, 41, of Compostela Sibulida, San Vicente, Davao del Norte. She was arrested after she sold suspected shabu worth P5,000 to a police poseur-buyer.
Seized from her were 14 sachets of suspected shabu.
Likewise, joint personnel of Drug Enforcement Unit of La Trinidad Municipal Police Station and Benguet PPO, Benguet Provincial Intelligence Branch, Regional Intelligence Division, Regional Intelligence Unit 14, and Tublay Municipal Police Station, in coordination with PDEA-CAR, arrested Begee Langaoan Lugangis, 32, of Bahong, La Trinidad.
Lugangis yielded a sachet of shabu worth P1,000 and one touch screen cellphone.
Three more drug pushers were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok 7, Lamog St., Victoria Village, Baguio City, Wednesday night. They were Renato Lee Lazaro, 52, taxi driver, of Purok 7, Lamog St., Victoria Village; Rolando Cornejo Manaois, 49, mechanic, of Tacay Road, Quezon Hill, Baguio City; and Jenelyn Delanda Alarba, 32, OFW, of Ajuy, Iloilo City.
Five sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were seized during the operation conducted by troops from the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Criminal Intelligence Unit (CIU), and BCPO Stn. 1.
