LUCENA City -- Two members of the House of Representatives in Quezon who filed their certificates of candidacy (CoC) yesterday are expected to run unopposed in their re-election bid.
As of late yesterday afternoon, nobody filed a CoC to contest Reps. Angelina Tan and Katrina Enverga of the 4th and 1st districts of Quezon, respectively.
Tan, a medical practitioner by profession, is now in her second term as lawmaker. She had beaten former Rep. Erin Tañada and his brother Toby who are both lawyers and sons of late Sen. Wigberto Tañada in the last two elections.
During her stint, Tan was able to author and co- author a number of House bills that were eventually anacted into law.
Enverga, a neophyte legislator, is a younger sister of former Rep. Mark Enverga.
