2 pushers, 1 user shot dead in Cavite, Rizal

CAMP Brig. Gen. Vicente Lim, Bgy. Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna -- Two drug pushers in Cavite and Rizal were killed during buy-bust operations last Tuesday.

Policemen in Indang, Cavite was able to buy a sachet of shabu from a certain Victor Mercado, a known drug pusher in the town at 10:45 p.m. 

The suspect resisted, pulled out a cal. .9mm pistol as the policemen surrounding him and asked him to give up.

Mercado fired twice, prompting the officers to return fire, killing him. A cal. .9mm pistol and sachet of shabu were recovered by the policemen.

In Antipolo City, a certain alias ‘Balong’, an ex-con who was involved in akyat-bahay, robbery-holdup, against Indian nationals and opted to sell illegal drugs, sold two sachets of shabu to policemen in Sitio El Dorado, Bgy. San Jose, Antipolo at at 7:30 p.m.

The suspect, who promised himself not to get arrested again, fired his cal. .22 revolver but was killed on the spot instead.

Meanwhile, in San Pedro City, Laguna, drug user Julio Sister Insorio Jr., of Kamagong St., Phase 1, Southfairway Homes, Bgy. Landayan, was picking mansi for food at 9:45 a.m. when an unidentified man grabbed him on the neck and shot him point-blank.

The victim was once arrested for illegal drugs and stealing motorcycles in San Pedro and Biñan cities.
