Combined operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) and the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) of Laguna, together with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives in Laguna and the San Pedro City police, arrested a suspected drug pusher for possession of nine marijuana bricks and student for selling marijuana con chocolate during the serving of a search warrant, in relation to Oplan Double Barrel Reloaded, in Block 25, Lot 6, Raintree St., Park Spring, Bgy. San Antonio, San Pedro City.
Acting Laguna Provincial director Senior Supt. Cecilio Ison Jr. identified the suspects as Bobby Albert Bobcock, single, of the said barangay, and Jan Allen Ledesma, 23, of B14, Lot 25, Formentera St., Town and Country, West Molino, Bacoor, Cavite.
The anti-drug operation, led by Supt. Vicente Cabatingan, chief, Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), was conducted by virtue of a search warrant issued by Judge Agripino Morga of RTC Branch 32 of San Pablo City.
During the operation, police seized from Bobcock nine marijuana bricks worth P250,000, assorted chocolates with marijuana flavor, two marijuana fruiting tops, marijuana seeds, three glass tube tooters with suspected marijuana residue.
Also confiscated were a metallic pipe tooter with suspected marijuana residue, a rectangular metallic case with marijuana dried leaves, three glass tube pipes, Mitsubishi Strada (WLO-708) and drug paraphernalia.
The operatives also arrested Ledesma during a follow-up operation for selling illegal drugs, particularly marijuana (mixed in chocolate and jelly) in Malayan College Laguna, South Point, Bgy. Banay Banay, Cabuyao City.
Ledesma also yielded a small plastic container of jelly containing suspected marijuana, a small glass jar container of chocolate containing suspected marijuana, two medium-size ziplock plastic sachet of jelly containing suspected marijuana, five small plastic containers of choco jelly containing suspected marijuana, a small glass jar containing suspected marijuana oil, seven powdered jelly mix, four wooden pipes, an improvised pipe, a compact grinder, and P1,000 bill (buy-bust money).
The suspects were brought to Cabuyao CPS for documentation and drug test and laboratory examination at RCLO 4A in Camp Vicente Lim.
