10 nabbed for drugs in Bataan

CAMP Olivas, Pampanga -- The continuing anti-illegal drugs operation in the province of Bataan resulted in the arrest of nine men and one woman the other day.

Senior Supt. Benjamin Silo Jr., Bataan provincial police director, said the arrested suspects include Mark Joseph Sibulo, 19, Jonathan Dungo, 36, and Wervinia Enrile, 39, in Bgy. Parang, Bagac town.
The three suspects were arrested after selling P500 worth of shabu to a poseur-buyer. When searched, they yielded 21 plastic sachets of shabu.
The operation was conducted after the police received information from concerned citizens about the suspects’ illegal activities through the “Sumbong Bilis Monitoring.”
In Bgy. Balsik, Hermosa town, Jeffrey Juanta, 26, and David Benjamin, 26, were arrested in a buy-bust operation.
In Bgy. Palihan, Orani, two suspects identified as Edgar Villanueva Jr., 40, and Jaypee Santos, 33, were arrested in an anti-illegal drugs operation.
In Morong town, Prosecutor Ethel Marie Degollado-Guia recommended the filing of charges against one Junjie Sidon, for drug pushing and possession.
Meanwhile, five sachets of shabu and two plastic sachets of dried marijuana leaves were confiscated during a buy-bust operation on the same day in Bgy. Tenejero, Orani town, which also resulted in the arrest of Ilarde Medina, 25. The suspect sold shabu for P500 to a poseur-buyer.
In Bgy. Wakas, Orion town, one Michael Javier, 22, was arrested after selling a plastic sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer.
The suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
