Stern warning against illegal drugs aired again

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte insisted that his campaign against illegal drugs does not spare anyone, not even if the person involved is a politician, police or ordinary citizen.

Duterte made the remark as he warned drug personalities once again to stop using illegal substances or he will "kill" them.

"'Yang droga na 'yan, ako nagwa-warning uli. It will last until the end of my term. At ang sinabi ko, ulitin ko, I have said it before and I will say it again for the nth time: Do not destroy my country with drugs because I will really kill you," Duterte said in a speech during the celebration of MassKara Festival in Bacolod City on Saturday.

"'Pag sinira mo ang bayan ko, sinira mo 'yung mga anak namin, tatang -- sisirain talaga kita. Kaya you're better off getting out while you can. Maaabutan ka talaga. Ma-mayor ka, ma-ano ka, maaabutan ka," he added.

Duterte, whose bloody campaign against illegal drugs has claimed thousands of lives since he assumed office, said he "wanted to be nice" but even law enforcers like the police seem to have been involved in drug operations.

"I wanted to be nice but you know, it's irritating na pati dito mga pulis, kayo rin mga pulis, l***** kayo. Bantay kayo. Isali ko kayo lahat. Eh itong pinahuli ko puro pulis itong mga y*** na ito," he said.

A barangay captain in Bacolod City was also apparently involved in drugs, Duterte said, who received a tongue lashing from him.

"May barangay captain dito nasa droga. P** — l**** ka," he said. "Gusto kitang ipangalanan pero bigyan kita. Huminto ka o umalis ka sa Bacolod. Pumunta ka doon sa Spratly, doon ka maliligo araw-araw," he said.

"Umalis kayo dito lumayas kayo 'pag hindi — I'm telling you now prangka-prangka I will destroy you. Magkaintindihan tayo diyan," he added.
