PNP gets computers, bikes

THE Philippine National Police Foundation, Inc. (PNPFI) chaired by Senator Panfilo ‘Ping’ M. Lacson  on Monday turned over P3.4 million worth of brand-new equipment including computer sets and bikes for use of the PNP in its day-to-day patrol and other activities.

PNPFI vice chairperson, Ms. Teresita Ang-See presented their donation which include 43 sets of i5 desktop computer sets, 57 sets of i3 desktop computers, 51 mountain bikes, 49 printers, four high-speed scanner, 14 cameras, three heavy-duty digital copiers, 28 hand-held radios, two sets of GM188 base radio and a 5KVA diesel generator set to PNP chief, Director General Ronald’ Bato’ M. dela Rosa.
The deed of donation was signed by Ang-See and Gen. dela Rosa during ceremonies witnessed by PNPFI president Rafael P. Dizon III and PNP Director for Logistics, Director Jose Ma. Victor DF Ramos.
According to the PNP, 25 PNP offices and units will be the recipient of the latest PNPFI donation. They include the Cordillera Police Regional Office and the Police Regional Office 4-A, the Nueva Viscaya Police Provincial Office; the Pasig City and Gingoog City Police Stations; the municipal police stations of Quirino, Ilocos Sur; Pili, Camarines Sur, Bayombong, Nueva Viscaya and Alcantara and Banton in Romblon provinces; the PRO4-A and National Capital Region Police Office Regional Public Safety Battalions; the Leyte Police Provincial Office and 10 offices/units in Camp Crame.
