Transportation Network Company (TNC) Grab Philippines yesterday filed before the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board a motion to lift the suspension of it’s P2 per minute travel charge.

Grab PH, through it’s legal counsel Atty. John Paul Nabua, insisted that the P2 additional fare charge is not illegal because it based on the Department Order 2015 authorizing Grab to make its own fare scheme.

The scheme was first implemented in July 2017 so Grab drivers will have additional benefit due to the traffic congestion and long trip destination.
In a motion, Grab PH explained that the scrapping of P2 per minute travel charge will burden its partners and drivers.
