Traffic rerouted at Luneta for ‘Talakayan’

A traffic rerouting scheme will be implemented today by the Manila Police District-Traffic Enforcement Unit  in connection with the “Talakayan sa Mapayapang Paggunita ng Martial Law” to be held in  Luneta.

The MDTEU said that beginning at 6 a.m., the northbound and southbound lanes of Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak to President Quirino will be closed to traffic along with the following: eastbound lane of TM Kalaw from Ma. Orosa to Taft Ave; eastbound and westbound lanes of TM Kalaw from MH del Pilar to Roxas Bouelevard and UN Ave. corner Roxas Blvd. Service Road.

Rerouting of vehicles will also be implemented where all vehicles from the eastern part of Manila which need to use Roxas Blvd. southbound lane going to Delpan Bridge-Pier Zone will be made to turn left to P. Burgos to point of destination.

All vehicles that need the westbound lane of TM Kalaw going to Roxas Blvd. may use MH del Pilar to point of destination.

Ma. Orosa will be used to point of destination by vehicles from A. Mabini St. that need to use the  eastbound lane of TM Kalaw going to Taft Ave. while vehicles from the south of Manila going to the northbound lane of Roxas  Blvd. may turn right to Pres. Quirino Avenue to point of destination.

Cargo trucks passing by Osmeña Highway are to turn right to Pres. Quirino Ave., straight to Nagtahan, A.H. Lacson, Yuseco St., cross over to Jose Abad Santos, straight to Raxabago, Capulong to point of destination while cargo trucks planning to use the southbound truck route coming from the Pier area may use the northbound lane of R-10, turn right to Capulong, straight to Yuseco Street up to AH Lacson Avenue to point of destination.
