A Senior fire officer 1 (SFO1) was arrested by the police after he was allegedly caught using shabu inside an apartelle in Quezon City.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Chief Supt. Joselito T. Esquivel Jr. said SFO1 Paulo Emmanuel Perea, 31, assigned with Bureau of Fire Protection-Office of the Regional Director, National Capital Region, was arrested by operatives of Kamuning Police Station (PS 10).

Investigation showed that at 3 p.m. on Oct. 4, 2018, a certain Jenny Rovelo checked in with her partner at New York Apartelle where Perea also checked in beside their room.

At 2 a.m. on Oct. 5, Rovelo discovered a piece of paper in a hole which read “Hi pd makipagkilala sau, iniwan kb ng kasama mo, wala kang kasama, wala din ako kasama.”

Rovelo informed her live-in partner about the piece of paper who peeped at the opposite room and saw Perea and another male companion having a shabu session.

Rovelo and her partner sought assistance from BPSOs of Bgy. Pinagkaisahan who, along with PS 10 operatives, responded that led to the arrest of Perea, but his companion escaped.

Seized from the suspect were several drug paraphernalia, including plastic sachets with traces of shabu.
