THE National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) is inviting the public, specially children, to go to the Luneta Park and enjoy the Halloween activities set up there, free of charge.

NPDC executive director Penelope Belmonte said the activities dubbed ‘Rizal Park Halloween Special’ started yesterday and will last up to tomorrow, October 29.

The events are highlighted by ‘spine-tingling’ celebration called ‘Gabi ng Lagim sa Rizal Park’ where everyone is invited without having to spend anything.

Belmonte said children below 13 years old need to be accompanied by their parents or guardians.

Featured, among others, are scary films, makeshift cemeteries and other creepy figures such as the famous ‘Sadako.’

On the other hand, adults with heart conditions ‘shall only enter at their own risk,’ she added.
