CHARGES for illegal possession of firearms and explosives have been filed by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) against six individuals arrested on Tuesday in Sitio Dalig, Teresa town, Rizal.
Ke Be I aka “Lily Ong,” Brandy S. Solinap, Victor R. dela Cruz, Bi-Lian Ke, Diosdado C. Bohol, and Ke Quiao Li aka “Sam Jany,” were charged before the Department of Justice (DoJ) and subjected to inquest proceedings for violation of Republic Act No. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunitions Act).
They were tagged as personalities involved in an alleged plot to destabilize the Duterte administration dubbed “Red October.”
Seized from them were M203 grenade launcher, four M653 baby armalite rifles, two grenades, five 12-gauge shotguns, three .45, .38, and 9-mm pistols, six two-way radios, eight cellular phones, and alleged “war” documents.
Suspect Lily Ong was presented by NBI Director Dante A. Gierran to newsmen.
Ong said she was the general manager in a poultry farm where the undocumented guns were recovered by agents of the NBI Special Action Unit (NBI-SAU) under Atty. Emeterio Dongallo Jr.
NBI spokesman Atty. Ferdinand Lavin said they will investigate other possible cases involving the suspects.
