OPERATIVES from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested two women who were caught in
the act of peddling illegal drugs to a poseur-buyer in a fastfood chain in Manila yesterday.

Now facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were Raizah
Benito, 24, and Aira Topaan, 20, both of Quiapo, Manila.
It was learned that the two were nabbed at 5:10 p.m. inside a fastfood chain located at the
corner of Taft Avenue and Pedro Gil Street in Manila.
A buy-bust operation was conducted by agents of the PDEA led by the Regional Office-National
Capital Region (PDEA RO-NCR) under Director Ismael Fajardo Jr.
The two allegedly tried to sell drugs to a poseur-buyer and were thus arrested. Found on them
