Most wanted nabbed while applying for police clearance

A wanted person was arrested by the police while applying for police clearance at the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Police Clearance Section.

QCPD director Chief Supt. Joselito T. Esquivel Jr. said Raymund Azarcon, 37, of 75 Matimtim St., Bgy. Teachers Village East, applied for police clearance at 1 p.m. Tuesday but his name appeared to be a ‘hit’ in the PNP E-Warrant system.

Verification showed that Azarcon have two warrants  for theft docketed under Criminal Case No. 362-V-17 issued by Judge Snooky Maria Ana Bareno-Sagayo of RTC Branch 283, Valenzuela City, with a recommended bail of P20,000, and CC No. 89709 issued by Judge Romello C Camarillo, of MTC Branch 107, Valenzuela City, with a recommended bail of P12,000.

The courts of origin will be notified of the arrest of the suspect.
