Man throws chair on street, shot by MC-rider

A man, who threw a wooden chair in the middle of the road, was shot and critically wounded by a motorcycle rider who nearly  stumbled when he hit the chair Tuesday night in Navotas City.

Abednego Plana, 31, of Block 4, Lot 6, Phase 2, Area 2, Bgy. NBBS, sustained gunshot wounds in the chest and left arm and was rushed by his friends to Tondo Medical Center.
Prior to the shooting incident, Plana and his friends were having a drinking spree in Block 33, Site 8, Mandaragat St., Bgy. NBBS at 9:30 p.m. when the victim threw a wooden chair in the middle of the street, blocking the approaching MC-riding suspect, with two back riders.
The rider, a certain Yuki Reyes, of Tumana, Bgy. NBBS alighted and confronted the victim.
At the height of their argument, the suspect pulled out an unknown caliber of firearm and shot the victim twice.
The suspect, along with his two back riders, escaped.
