October 18, 2018

UNIDENTIFIED burglars ransacked an establishment and carted away almost P60,000 worth of hardware items and cash yesterday before dawn in Malabon City.

The incident was discovered by Angel Gaw, 22, and Kim Cheng, of legal age, secretary and technician, respectively of Billgood Marketing located at 189 A86 Building, MacArthur Highway, Bgy. Potrero, after they opened the establishment at 8 a.m. yesterday.

Gaw told Malabon police theft and robbery investigators SPO2 Jherico Pascual and SPO1 Roger Gonzales that after they opened the roll-up door of the establishment, they noticed that the paper cover of the glass wall divider was detached and several pieces of hardware items were missing.

The two immediately reported the incident to the police and upon inventory, they found out that several pieces of drill bits, grinder packs copper, sets of allen wrench and cash totaling P58,000 were missing.

The victims said the suspects also took the close circuit television (CCTV) camera, including its monitor, while other items were scattered on the floor.

Investigators are not discounting the possibility of an inside job since they found no signs of forced entry on the establishment.
