Jinggoy files CoC for senator

FORMER Senator Jinggoy Estrada filed his certificate of candidacy (CoC) at the Commission on Elections’ main office yesterday at 9 a.m.

On October 15, JV Ejercito, his half-brother, filed his CoC for senator as re-electionist while San Juan City Vice Mayor Janella announced her mayoralty bid during proclamation rally at Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan City on Monday night.

Janella’s filed her CoC with her running-mate Leonardo Celles at the San Juan City Comelec office.

The vice mayor is expected to face the city’s former vice mayor, Francis Zamora.

Actor and television host Edu Manzano will be running as representative of the city.

The current San Juan City vice mayor, the granddaughter of Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, is aiming to succeed Mayor Guia Gomez who is in her last term.

On October 10, JV took oath as Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) member. He left his father’s political party, Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino.
