A former drug addict-turned-pusher was shot dead by an unidentified assailant Tuesday afternoon in
Malabon City.

Raffy Jackosalem, 25, of Blk. 12, Lot 27, Phase 2, Area 3, Dagat-Dagatan, Bgy. Longos, was
rushed to Tondo Medical Center by a certain Christopher Ramos but was declared dead upon arrival due
to gunshot wounds in the neck and body.
Malabon police homicide investigators PO2 Rockymar Binayug and PO2 Junny Delgado said the
victim was sitting on his driven tricycle at 1:40 p.m. and waiting for a passenger along Dagat-
Dagatan when one of the suspects, who posed as passenger, asked him to convey him to Salmon St.,
Bgy. Longos.
Upon reaching the place, the suspect alighted but instead of paying his fare, he pulled out
a cal. .45 pistol and shot the victim twice.
The suspect then boarded another tricycle driven by his cohort and sped away towards Letre,
Bgy. Longos.
Police learned that the victim, who was also involved in robbery-holdup, was included in the
police drug watchlist and had surrendered during “Oplan Tokhang” but did not stop his bad habit and
instead decided to sell illegal drugs.
Malabon police head of investigators Insp. Paul Dennis Javier said they are not discounting
the possibility that a botched drug deal could be the motive behind the killing.
