FOR allegedly refusing to give her live-in partner money, a 22-year-old housewife was stabbed and critically wounded by the man Friday evening in Malabon City.
Shannylyn Gososo of Martinico St. Brgy. Longos was rushed by her uncle to Pagamutang Bayan ng Malabon but later transferred to Jose Reyes Memorial and Medical Center (JRMMC) for treatment of stab wounds in the body.
Police are now hunting down the victim’s partner Jeric Conge of Bagong Silang, San Jose, Navotas City, who managed to escape after the knife attack.
Navotas Police Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD) investigator SPO1 Romirosa Mallari said Conge was under the influence of liquor when he came home at around 11:20 p.m. and immediately demanded money from Shannylyn.
When the victim refused, a heated altercation ensued until the suspect pulled out a bladed weapon and stabbed his live-in partner repeatedly.
The victim screamed for help prompting the suspect to flee as his live-in-partner’s uncle Daniel Enano was coming to help her.
