A couple is set to be charged after they allegedly connived to abort the woman’s baby, putting her life at risk in Sta. Cruz, Manila, the other night.
Now in the custody of the Manila Police Distict-Homicide Section is suspect Jun-Jun Patigayon, 23, of 2009 Tomas Mapua St., Sta. Cruz, Manila. His live-in partner, Nelly Tagapan, 21, remains confined at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center (JRMMC).
Patigayon reportedly told police that he bought four pieces of Cytotec, an abortion-inducing pill, and then told Tagapan to take them, causing the latter to bleed heavily and lose the baby she had been carrying for the past four months.
Tagapan was rushed to the hospital owing to the non-stop bleeding and the hospital informed the police about it.
It was during the investigation when cops learned that the two had been living together for the past three weeks. Tagapan was said to have gulped the two tablets while the other two inserted in her private part.
