CEB cancels flights to, from Guam due to typhoon

BUDGET carrier Cebu Pacific has announced flight cancellations to and from Guam today due to Super Typhoon Yutu.

Cancelled flight are as follows: 5J 101-Manila-Guam and 5J 102 Guam-Manila.

CEB said it will be mounting a recovery flight with the same schedule above for the following day, Oct. 26, 2018.

Passengers were already being notified and may avail of the following options: rebook flights for travel within 30 days from original date of departure; convert into a Travel Fund for future use or get a full refund.

CEB spokesperson Ma. Rosario Lagamon said affected passengers may rebook, reroute or refund their flight free-of-charge through the “Manage Booking” section of the Cebu Pacific website (www.cebupacificair.com).

Meantime, passengers who booked their flights via a travel agency or any other third party are strongly encouraged to provide their own contact details so the airline can reach them directly for any updates.

“We will provide updated information through our website as well as our official Facebook (facebook.com/cebupacificair) and Twitter (@CebuPacificAir) accounts,” Lagamon said.
