Caloocan cops dismantle drug den, 6 collared

AUTHORITIES dismantled a suspected drug den following the arrest of six suspected drug personalities who were about to conduct a shabu session before dawn yesterday in Caloocan City.

Caloocan police deputy chief for administration Supt. Ferdie del Rosario identified those arrested as Raffy Cantiga, 27, of Ph. YB, Package 3, Block 75, Lot 29, Bagong Silang; Alexander Enriquez, 30, of Phase 7A, Block 28, Lot 12; Jeric Torres, 40, of Phase 12, Block 55, Bgy. 183, Tala;  Rafael Paguio, 35, of Phase 2, Kanlaun, Bgy. 176; Ruel Pilo, 38, of Phase 2, Package 3, Bgy. 176, and Jose Larckin, 34, of Phase 2, Pacakge 3, Lot 19, Bagong Silang.

Del Rosario said elements of Caloocan Police Community Precinct (PCP) 3 were conducting foot patrol at around 2 a.m. when a concerned citizen approached them and reported the alleged illegal activities of a group of persons inside a suspected drug den  at Phase 2, Package 2, Block 30, Lot 9, Bgy. 176.

Policemen immediately proceeded to the area and caught the suspects who were about to start their drug session.

When frisked, the suspects yielded a total of six transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu from their pockets while several pieces of drug paraphernalia with traces of suspected shabu were recovered inside the alleged drug den.
