Bullet-riddled man found in SUV

THE body of an unidentified man with bullet wounds in the head and body was discovered inside a sport utility vehicle (SUV) Tuesday night in Las Piñas City.

In his report to acting Southern Police District (SPD) drector Senior Supt. Eliseo Cruz, Las Piñas police chief Senior Supt. Marion Balonglong said the victim’s body was discovered at around 9 p.m. lying inside a black Mitsubishi Montero (UOA-550) parked along Vatican Drive, BF Resort Village, Bgy. Talon 2.

The body was discovered by one Leonardo Ontoy, 45, who immediately sought the assistance of barangay officials and the police.

Elements of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) recovered several empty shells for still unknown caliber of firearm inside the vehicle, a wrist watch and a cellular phone.

Las Piñas police homicide investigators are now coordinating with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to inquire about the registered owner of the vehicle and trying to determine the password of the cellular phone to uncover messages that will help them identify the victim.
