BFP-NCR man, brod collared for drugs

Quezon City policemen arrested an active personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection NCR and his brother in the latest anti-illegal drug operations in Quezon City.

QCPD director Chief Supt. Joselito T. Esquivel Jr. said Fire Officer 1 (FO1) Rudy Remigio, 47, was arrested, along with his brother Enrico, 38, during a buy-bust operation conducted against Alfredo Mandioya, alias Toyo, 28, of 27 Pedro Bukanig St., Bgy. Sta. Lucia, Novaliches, at 10 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2018 along Pedro Bukanig St., Bgy. Sta. Lucia, Novaliches.

The Remigios were said to be drug clients of Mandioya who had also a warrant of arrest for violation of RA 9165 and violation of City Ordinance 5121. FO1 Remigio was assigned at the Office of the Regional Director, BFP-NCR as fuel wagon crew of the General Services. He entered the service in 1999.

Police also arrested during the operation Mark Joseph Busa, 24, a former drug surrenderer, of 27 Pedro Bukanig St., Bgy. Sta. Lucia, and Eric John Castro, 24, of 25 Visayas Ave., Bgy. Sta. Lucia, and Analiza Eradel,  33, of 23 Pugong Ginto St., Sitio Aguardiente, Bgy. Sta. Monica, Novaliches, after they were caught with shabu.

Seized from the suspects were seven sachets of shabu and the buy-bust money.
