THREE bags containing guns and bullets were found abandoned in one of the restaurants located at the NAIA Terminal 3.

It was learned that Supt. Christian Melchor, chief of the Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group at the said terminal, has ordered an investigation to track down the owner of the said bag.

A report received by the office of Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) Manager Ed Monreal said that at around 11 a.m. yesterday,  security guard Kate Brittanico was doing her usual rounds when she found a bag abandoned at the 4th level concessionaire area in front of the Raku restaurant.

The bag, when turned over to proper authorities, was later found to have contained two caliber .45 guns, two magazines and several live ammunition.

The airport security and the PNP are now conducting an investigation and tracking down the owner of the said bags and firearms.

A review of the CCTV is also done in the hope of identifying the bag owner.
