Bacoor LGU turns over patrol vehicles, firearms to PNP

BACOOR City, Cavite -- Chief Supt. Edward Carranza, PRO-4A director, graced the traditional Monday flag-raising ceremony at STRIKE Gymnasium in Bgy. Bayanan, hosted by the local government under Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla.

Carranza, together with Cavite police director Senior Supt. William Segun and Bacoor police director Supt. Vicente Cabatingan, witnessed the turnover of three brand-new Toyota Innova police patrol vehicles, 18 M14 assault rifles, 2 sniper rifles, 2 MP5 machine guns, gas masks, complete sets of uniforms with bullet-proof vests and Kevlar helmets, ballistic shield, breaching tools for the newly graduated SWAT personnel of this station.

Supt. Cabatingan also presented the certificates of commendation to barangay captains and tanods, who arrested drug personalities and helped the police officers in solving crimes during the ceremony.

“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa buong suporta pong ibinibigay ng lokal na pa-mahalaan po ng Bacoor lalung lalo na po kay Mayora Lani at Cong. Strike, sa kapulisan natin. Makakaasa po kayo na pag-iiba-yuhin ng aming tanggapan, sampu ng aking mga tauhan, para sa kaligtasan ng bawat Bacooreño,” he said.
